From now until June 21st we are offering the opportunity for you to schedule your child’s portrait session and the chance to win up to $5,000 in cash. Schedule an appointment with us from now until June 21st, and if you wish, your child’s portrait will also be entered into the Miller’s Professional Imaging Baby and Child contest. A range of prizes will be awarded from $500 – $5,000 in cash.

Christmas Caroling

Each year our church youth group goes on a Christmas caroling hayride and this year was no different. Everyone had a great time and each family that had the pleasure of being sung to were very appreciative. It was a Christmas caroling hayride, but the weather was anything but Christmas-like. It was a bit on the warm side. Here are a few pictures of the evening.

Ball family photo session this morning

It’s always a pleasure to get to know a friendly, loving family and share a special time while capturing some memorable moments. Our session this morning with the Ball family was no different. The little ones were a little fidgety, but we got a few good shots. The last picture is a nice sunbeam I saw this morning on the way to the photo session.

Lorraine Bridge – Bell City, LA

This afternoon I took a drive out to the country and took some pictures of a quaint wooden bridge. I have not done very many landscape pictures before, but I do enjoy being out in God’s creation capturing some of its beaty with my camera. I hope you enjoy.

This evening after church I had the opportunity to capture these headshots. This young lady said she doesn’t look good in pictures. Well, I beg to differ. The cute little one is her daughter.

Gumbo and fellowship with friends

Last night after the Christmas Parade a number of us gathered at one of our church members’ home and enjoyed gumbo and good times around the table. I really enjoy the Christmas season as it gets colder here in South Louisiana and we are able to come into a warm home and enjoy a festive time. Visiting with us was a family from Mississippi and I took a few shots of the children while they were playing as well as when they began to get little tired.

A fun day at the Parade

We had a great time this afternoon at the Lake Charles Christmas Parade. Quite a few friends were there with us and there was plenty of candy and beads to go around. There were colorful sights and a number of different styles of music to be heard. Naturally, I had camera in hand to record some of the sights. The sounds…I’ll just have to leave that up to your imagination.

A sweet photo session

I had a wonderful opportunity to catch some beautiful smiles from one of our sweet older church members this afternoon in her lovely home. Along with the smiles we had some wonderful conversation, a cup of cappuccino, and some Christmas cookies. I hope you enjoy these pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them.
