Last night marked Prom night for many schools here in Lake Charles, and young men and women dressed to the nines were all over the place. My subjects for this photo session were no exception. We grabbed quite a few great images before they headed off to their dinner reservations. The camera really loved these two and their beautiful dresses.

I had the pleasure of sharing a special day with John & Katie this past Saturday. It was a casual wedding with a few close friends and family at Pat’s of Henderson Restaurant in Lake Charles. A couple of days ago I looked out our back door and saw a dramatic sunset. Needless to say, I ran immediately to grab my camera and took a couple of pictures. The setting sun literally set the clouds on fire with color.

I had a wonderful meeting with this great couple earlier this evening while going over their plans for their upcoming wedding. It’s always a privilege to hear the story of how a couple met, how he proposed, what’s important to them, and what they like.

Fun, sand, swimming… The beach has a lot to offer. It’s not exactly the white sandy beaches most people think of, but it is our local beach on Prien Lake. One evening after crossing the I 210 bridge, I decided to go down to Lafleur Park and take a few shots at the beach. Here is one of the shots I captured.
